I’ve been seeing a lot of discussion lately hyping up “all-inclusive” packages from sites like Cheeky Trips and other similar platforms-but honestly, is anyone actually getting a genuinely good bargain, or is it just clever marketing with a bunch of hidden costs?
Whenever I look closer, the deals always seem to have caveats: strange flight times, inconvenient airports, meals that aren’t actually included for every night, tons of surcharges, add-ons, or “admin fees” that don’t show up until you’re about to pay.
Do these all-inclusive holidays really add up to less than booking flights and accommodation separately, or are we paying for the illusion of a deal? Has anyone actually broken down all the costs after their Cheeky Trips (or similar budget aggregator) package versus booking on your own? Would you do it again?
I get the appeal of convenience, but “all inclusive” is starting to feel less “bargain” and more “bait and switch.” Would love to hear from anyone who’s looked at the hard numbers or had a real-life experience either way.
